1. What is Gate Launchpad?
Gate Launchpad is Gate’s innovative token launch platform that lets you get early access to high-potential crypto projects through a paid subscription model — giving you a head start before the market catches on. Join now
2. What are the requirements to participate in a Launchpad subscription?
In most cases, completing KYC is sufficient to participate in a Launchpad subscription. However, some projects may also require a certain trading volume during a specified period. Please refer to the detailed information for each project.
3. How do I participate in Gate Launchpad?
Log in to your Gate account, head to the Launchpad page, select a project, and click [Commit Now]. [View Guide]
4. What tokens can I use to subscribe?
Launchpad subscription tokens are typically USDT, GT, or others. Please check the project details for specifics. The final subscription token shall be based on the actual project. Note: Borrowed funds are not eligible for participation in Launchpad projects.
5. Will my funds be locked after subscribing?
Yes. If your subscription is successful, the corresponding amount will be deducted from your account within 4 hours after the subscription period ends. Any unsubscribed portion will also be unlocked and refunded to your spot account within 4 hours after the subscription period ends.
6. How are tokens allocated?
After the subscription ends, tokens are distributed based on your contribution as a percentage of the total funds raised. Your subscription amount is deducted accordingly, and tokens are credited to your spot account.
7. How many tokens will I get?
Gate currently uses two methods to calculate token distribution: Method 1: Tokens are allocated based on the proportion of your total commitment during the subscription period relative to the total contributions of the project. Method 2: Tokens are allocated based on the proportion of your average hourly locked amount during the subscription period relative to the project's overall hourly average contribution. Regardless of the method used, your allocation cannot exceed the specified Max Cap per Subscriber.
Example for Method 1: Suppose a Launchpad project distributes 1,000 tokens over a 4-hour subscription period, with a maximum of 20 tokens per user. The total commitments for the project are: 100 + 200 + 300 + 400 = 1,000 USDT. User A contributes 50 USDT in the first hour, which means he will receive: 50 / 1,000 × 1,000 = 50 tokens. But since the maximum per user is 20 tokens, User A actually receives 20 tokens. User B contributes 5 USDT in the third hour and 10 USDT in the fourth hour, so his total contribution is 15 USDT. He will receive: 15 / 1,000 × 1,000 = 15 tokens. Tokens exceeding the cap (like the 30 tokens from User A) are redistributed to other users who haven't reached their per-user limit.
Example for Method 2: A Launchpad project is offering a total of 1,000 tokens over a 4-hour subscription period, with a maximum of 20 tokens per user. The project's average total committed funds over the 4 hours is: (100 + 200 + 300 + 400) ÷ 4 = 250 USDT User A subscribed 10 USDT in the 1st hour. So his hourly average contribution is (10 + 10 + 10 + 10) ÷ 4 = 10 USDT His token allocation: 10 ÷ 250 × 1000 = 40 tokens However, since the maximum per user is 20 tokens, User A will receive 20 tokens. User B subscribed 8 USDT in the 3rd hour, then 2 USDT in the 4th hour. So his hourly average contribution is (0 + 0 + 8 + 10) ÷ 4 = 4.5 USDT His token allocation: 4.5 ÷ 250 × 1000 = 18 tokens Since user A has exceeded the cap for token allocation, the excess (20 tokens) will be reallocated to other users who haven't reached the cap.
8. Is there a cap on how many tokens I can receive?
Some projects may have a maximum allocation limit. Check the specific project details for more information.
9. How much of my locked funds will be deducted if I successfully subscribe?
- Token Price = Fundraising Target / Total Number of Tokens Issued
- Deducted Amount = Number of Tokens Received × Token Price
10. Can I participate in multiple projects at the same time?
Yes, as long as you meet the subscription requirements, you can subscribe to multiple projects.
11. Why didn’t I receive any tokens after a successful subscription?
If your token allocation, calculated according to the distribution rules, is less than 0.00000001 (8 decimal places), it will be considered an unsuccessful subscription. In that case, all your committed funds will be unlocked and refunded to your spot account after the subscription ends.
12. How to get the Launchpad bonus?
When you use GT and USDT to participate in Launchpad, you can choose to transfer to the "Simple Earn Fixed Product" after the project ends, and you can get an extra bonus (still subject to the personal distribution limit constraint). Note that you cannot get an extra distribution reward for the Simple Earn Fixed Product that has not been applied for through Launchpad.
13. Why was there no Launchpad bonus when I chose to subscribe to Simple Earn during the subscription?
If you reach the maximum distribution reward, there will be no additional rewards.
