The new Nano is no longer just a Crypto Assets Wallet; Ledger refers to it as a “signer,” a place for storing digital assets and identities. The name change reflects the company's shift in understanding the core of security in the digital age. As a secure signing device, it can handle Crypto Assets transactions, smart contracts, and identity verification. It supports “clear signing,” allowing users to verify transactions directly on the device before approving them.
