Odaily Planet Daily reports that the DeBot team issued a security incident statement on the X platform, stating that due to a data center expansion and migration operation on December 9, 2025, some user wallet information in the Japan data center was leaked. On December 27, 2025, hackers exploited these leaked data to crack and transfer assets, resulting in a total loss of $250,000. According to DeBot monitoring, this incident only affected wallets created or imported before December 10, 2025; addresses generated afterward are not affected. The DeBot team commits to fully compensate all affected users and has launched an official compensation registration page. After submitting an application, the official will complete the review within 72 hours and directly transfer the compensation to the user’s secure wallet address. The team also reminds users to transfer their remaining assets in the risk wallets as soon as possible. If further losses occur due to continued use of the affected wallets, the platform will no longer be responsible.
