X Product Lead's comment "Crypto tweets are dying off in a suicidal manner" sparks community dissatisfaction; the post appears to have been deleted, possibly due to pressure.
Deep Tide TechFlow News, January 11th, X product lead and Solana advisor Nikita Bier posted on the X platform stating that since October last year, there has been a rumor circulating in crypto tweets (CT) that users need to reply hundreds of times daily to grow their accounts. However, each post consumes some influence for that day. Since ordinary users only browse 20 to 30 posts per day, the platform cannot display all of a user’s posts to all their followers. As a result, crypto Twitter users end up wasting all their influence on hundreds of “gm” replies, with only a few people paying attention when they publish project announcements and other substantive content. The decline of crypto tweets is attributed to their own behavior rather than algorithm issues, and it is said that “crypto tweets are dying from suicide (CT is dying from suicide).”
This statement sparked dissatisfaction in the crypto community. LedgArt co-founder KALEO pointed out that Nikita Bier did not support user growth and the long-term online user base from the users’ perspective, and attempted to suppress the crypto community on the X platform. They also called for Nikita Bier to resign, and Nikita Bier has since deleted the related posts.
