I haven't been paying attention to this project for a while, and today I suddenly found that it has dropped out of the top 100. It does seem to be happening pretty quickly. Time to catch up on some research.

The OpenGradient project is worth discussing. Many people wonder why current AI models have such poor memory capabilities, feeling like goldfish that forget everything in 7 seconds. The reason is actually quite simple—the current AI memory mechanism is essentially just temporary chat logs, with no real persistent storage. Once power is cut or the conversation switches, all information is instantly wiped, starting from zero. This architecture clearly cannot solve long-term memory issues, which is why AI often suffers from "goldfish syndrome." The core idea of OpenGradient is to break through this bottleneck and enable AI to have true persistent memory. This direction is definitely worth paying attention to.
