This year's Spring Festival's most obvious feeling is that there are hardly any people sending red envelopes.
In the past, crypto group chats would always have someone sending all kinds of red envelope rain, but this year, it's really much less.
Except for a few group admins, group members have all gone quiet,
and everyone tacitly agrees not to stir up others to send red envelopes,
because everyone knows very well that they are all very broke.
Of course, I am also very broke, hesitant and cautious, no longer daring to send red envelopes.
The current atmosphere in the crypto world is panic. During the previous bear market, there was hope, and we could still make some gains,
but now the attention has shifted elsewhere, such as AI, US stocks, and so on.
With focus not on the crypto space, the outlook becomes less optimistic. Plus, recent market performance has been bleak,
so panic has followed.
When will the next bull market arrive? There’s no answer,
but what is certain is that during the coldest emotional periods and when voices are few, it’s often a phase where a cycle is quietly coming to an end or brewing a turning point.
However, this time, the wait feels especially long.
