Liyang (Shanghai) Foreign Investment Enterprise Symposium Held

News Report (by reporter Jia Yanbo): On February 27, the Liyang (Shanghai) Foreign Investment Enterprise Symposium was held in Shanghai, with representatives from over 30 foreign-invested companies and professional organizations attending to discuss business opportunities and joint development.

Shanghai is a core city in the Yangtze River Delta, and Liyang, as an important node in southern Jiangsu, has fully integrated into Shanghai’s “90-minute economic circle” following the opening of the Nanjing-Shanghai high-speed rail. Currently, Liyang has attracted more than 100 companies in the power battery and related supply chain industries, forming the largest power battery industrial cluster in the country’s county-level regions with a scale of hundreds of billions. It also hosts nine high-level research platforms, showcasing the integration of the “ancient city” with modern industry.

Representatives from Solvay Group, OGE Cable, Tianxi Group, and other foreign-invested enterprises in Liyang expressed unanimous confidence in the solid industrial foundation and favorable business environment of Liyang, considering it a preferred investment destination in the Yangtze River Delta and eager to strengthen cooperation for greater development. Representatives from the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce, Cushman & Wakefield, and Lihua Business Consulting engaged in in-depth discussions on industry investment trends, international cooperation opportunities, and expressed their willingness to deepen collaboration.

In the free exchange session, guests actively discussed topics such as industrial cooperation, project implementation, policy support, and talent attraction with representatives from Liyang.
