Geopolitical developments will continue to dictate global markets after the war in the Middle East triggered surges in energy commodities and raised the outlook of global inflation. Reports by the IEA and OPEC will unveil insights on the impact of the shock in seaborne supply of energy from the Persian Gulf. The spotlight on US economic data will be on the US consumer inflation for February and PCE for January. Price data will also be the focus in China, India, Brazil, and Mexico. Likewise, household spending will be the focus in Japan. In the Eurozone, markets await key industrial production aggregates for the currency bloc and its largest economies, while the monthly GDP and industrial output will be featured from the UK. Lastly, key leading indicators are due from Australia and Switzerland.
