People’s Finance News, March 7 — The Fourth Session of the 14th National People’s Congress held a press conference focused on people’s livelihoods today. Minister of Civil Affairs Lu Zhiyuan introduced policies to improve resource input. Relevant departments will increase support in areas such as funding, planning, standards, talent, and technology. They will guide regions to scientifically plan the layout of elderly care facilities, develop national and industry standards for elderly care services, vigorously promote smart elderly care, strengthen the training of elderly care professionals, promote vocational skill level certification, and include “elderly care service workers” as a new profession.
