American journalist forcibly detained by the IDF on the West Bank
A reporter from CNN stated in a video released on March 27 that he and his team were detained by the Israeli soldiers while filming in the West Bank. The video shows the Israeli soldiers pointing guns at the filming team and forcing them to sit on the ground, then taking them away in a vehicle and holding them for two hours. During the conversation between the reporter and the Israeli soldiers, the Israeli soldiers claimed, “The entire West Bank is ours,” and that the settlements would be “gradually” legalized. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) issued a statement saying that an investigation has been launched regarding the matter. (CCTV International News)
