Beijing Business Today reported (Reporter Song Yitong) On March 27, Weihai Bank released its 2025 annual performance announcement. The data shows that, as of the end of the reporting period, the bank’s total assets reached RMB 504.521 billion, an increase of RMB 63.057 billion from the end of 2024, up 14.28%; total deposits increased by RMB 48.843 billion from the end of 2024, up 16.64%; and total loans increased by RMB 16.667 billion from the end of 2024, up 7.92%.

For full-year 2025, Weihai Bank achieved operating revenue of RMB 9.918 billion, a year-on-year increase of RMB 0.602 billion, up 6.46%; it achieved net profit of RMB 2.504 billion, a year-on-year increase of RMB 0.306 billion, up 13.90%. Trading net loss/gain, investment net gains, and other operating income were RMB 1.457 billion, which was RMB 0.284 billion less than in 2024, down 16.30%, mainly due to the decline in the valuation of non-standardized assets.

Judging from the loan structure, as of the end of the reporting period, Weihai Bank’s corporate loan balance was RMB 171.523 billion, an increase of RMB 21.005 billion from the end of 2024, up 13.96%; its personal loan balance was RMB 37.410 billion, a decrease of RMB 5.894 billion from the end of 2024, down 13.61%; and bill discounting was RMB 18.065 billion, an increase of RMB 1.556 billion from the end of 2024, up 9.42%.

In terms of asset quality, as of the end of the reporting period, Weihai Bank’s total non-performing loan balance was RMB 3.210 billion, an increase of RMB 0.250 billion from the end of 2024, up 8.45%. The non-performing loan ratio was unchanged from the end of 2024. Among them, the proportion of substandard loans increased by 0.18 percentage points from the end of 2024 to 0.76%; the proportion of doubtful loans decreased by 0.24 percentage points from the end of 2024 to 0.46%; and the proportion of loss loans increased by 0.06 percentage points from the end of 2024 to 0.19%.
