On March 28, Beijing Youth Daily reporter learned that, as a branded event of the Zhongguancun International Technology Trading Conference during the 2026 Zhongguancun Forum Annual Conference, the Matchmaking Conference on Collaborative Innovation and Development Among Large, Medium-sized, and Small Enterprises was held at the Zhongguancun International Technology Trading Center. More than 100 key representatives from industry chains, including enterprises, universities and research institutes, and investment and financing institutions from Beijing and Qingdao, gathered together to fully推动 large, medium-sized, and small enterprises to move from “one-way matchmaking” to “two-way mutual engagement,” and to upgrade from “single-point interaction” to “ecosystem-wide win-win.”

In the early stages of the event, the organizers focused on three major core tracks—artificial intelligence, green energy, and intelligent manufacturing—and conducted comprehensive solicitation and meticulous sorting of 100 technology research and development challenge requirements that closely fit real industrial needs and have high cooperation value, compiling and formulating a dedicated requirements collection, so that the industry’s rigid demands could be transformed into precise entrepreneurship opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises.

On-site, eight central state-owned enterprises and private sector leading companies, including China Energy Investment Group’s New Energy Institute, Beijing Investment Co., Ltd., Smartstone Technology, Heliq Technology Group, and Hibo Saisichuang, were selected to take the stage to release their offerings. The requirements covered multiple cutting-edge directions, such as electric-hydrogen coordination, offshore wind power construction equipment, energy storage system integration, intelligent factories for process industries, and intelligent clean devices, among others.

Among them, the 57.0 million yuan total-contract level requirement from Beijing Infrastructure Investment Co., Ltd. drew particular attention. At the event, it released the technology requirements titled “Beijing ‘Rail Transit + Photovoltaics’ Multi-Scenario Smart Energy Integration Technology Requirements,” focusing on two core areas: photovoltaic power generation and energy management product systems. It put forward a large-scale technology cooperation order and sincerely invited high-quality small and medium-sized enterprises to work together on breakthroughs, becoming a focal point of intense on-site matchmaking interest.

In addition, in the energy conservation and energy storage sector, Zhu Haitao, deputy general manager of the New Energy Institute of China Energy Investment Group, released four requirements around the directions of new-type energy storage and CCUS; Heliq focused on common technologies for intelligent factories in process industries; Smartstone Technology delved into core components of clean robots and embodied intelligence; and Hibo Saisichuang laid out new energy storage technologies such as flow batteries and sodium-ion batteries, releasing requirements for these areas as well. Major leading enterprises threw open their “boundaries,” opened up scenarios, and transformed their deeply accumulated industry-chain advantages into an innovation empowerment platform for collaborative sharing.

The event selected eight technology companies with core competitiveness, including Beijing General Artificial Intelligence Research Institute, Qiwenn New Energy, Kedazhi Ling, and Fengke Technology, which took turns to deliver keynote presentations. From the industrialization exploration of Tongzhi embodied brain, to “Zhiling,” an engineering-level AI native research and development platform; from multi-energy collaborative conversion solutions, to Evervision Galileo wind-and-solar energy storage integrated machines; and from AI enabling process industries to artificial intelligence supporting R&D of new materials, to embodied intelligence inspection ensuring industrial safety.

In the event’s benchmark case-sharing segment, two industry-leading companies shared practical experience on-site, unlocking a replicable and scalable new collaboration and development model. China Energy Engineering Group International Engineering Co., Ltd. directly addressed overseas expansion difficulties for new energy, sharing a collaborative path of “a chain-leader leading the way and going overseas in a coordinated group.” Relying on its advantages in integrating the full industrial chain, in the past five years its overall procurement scale exceeded 1.2 trillion yuan, successfully driving more than 5,000 enterprises in Belt and Road co-construction countries to develop in a coordinated manner. They not only exported Chinese technologies and standards, but also led multiple domestic design, construction, and equipment manufacturing enterprises to go overseas in parallel, achieving an overall leap forward for the new energy industry chain.

JD.com focused on technological public welfare and ecosystem empowerment. Relying on its independently developed JoyInside ecosystem platform, it opened and shared core technologies and hardware integration capabilities such as AI algorithms and intelligent interaction, enabling cutting-edge hardware brands such as Unitree Technology, Posid Tech Robotics, and ZhuiMi Technology with precise ecosystem empowerment. It helped companies tackle R&D challenges and lower the threshold for innovation, building an ecosystem of symbiosis and shared prosperity in which “big enterprises output core capabilities” and “small and medium-sized enterprises deeply cultivate niche scenarios.”

According to incomplete statistics, at the event site, several companies including Bezi Technology and Evervision Energy, Kedazhi Ling and Smartstone Technology, as well as the Institute of Surveying and Research and ChaoWei Chuangxiang, have teamed up. They initially reached matchmaking intentions of nearly 10 deals, covering key areas such as new energy smart operations and maintenance, and 3D data software.

At the event site, it also released the “Technical Requirements Handbook for the Matchmaking Conference on Collaborative Innovation and Development Among Large, Medium-sized, and Small Enterprises” and the “Beijing Manufacturing Pilot Platform External Open Service Handbook.” The former centrally released 100 specific technology requirements from leading enterprises, providing precise navigation for small and medium-sized enterprises to take the lead in claiming projects. The latter gathered open resources and service capabilities of key pilot platforms across the city, helping small and medium-sized enterprises solve the crucial link of “from the laboratory to the production line.” Meanwhile, the Postal Savings Bank of China Beijing Branch stationed support throughout the process to empower, and rolled out multiple technology-innovation-dedicated financial products.

Relying on the Zhongguancun Forum’s long-term platform, Beijing will continue to build normalized matchmaking channels, extend the service chain, and drive collaborative innovation from a single event into a long-term mechanism. In the future, Beijing will continue to deepen a long-term mechanism for collaborative innovation among large, medium-sized, and small enterprises. Relying on the Zhongguancun Forum platform, it will build “a never-ending” supply-and-demand matchmaking service.
