Recently, the group has been arguing again about whether the extreme funding rate is a reversal or just a bubble squeeze.
Watching it gives me a headache: you can guess the market, but you can't guess the year-end tax report.
I used to say "I'll organize it later," but then I ended up with a bunch of cross-chain + DEX + perpetuals, and the bills looked like they had been blown up by a bridge, impossible to piece back together.
Now I keep it simple: every time I cross-chain/exchange/open or close a position, I immediately export the exchange data, wallet address, and transaction hash into the same table, and casually take a screenshot as proof of "what I was doing at that time."
Bridges are most prone to accidents; when you really need to explain the flow of funds, if there's no record, you're just left staring blankly.
I treat complexity as an enemy: anything that can be automatically exported, I never copy manually—survive first, then worry about the rest.
