Southern Theater Command: Philippine actions seriously violate China's sovereignty
Southern Theater Command spokesperson Zhai Shichen, a Navy Rear Admiral, stated that on March 20, a Philippine C-208 aircraft illegally entered airspace near China’s Nansha Miji Reef without China’s permission. The Chinese People’s Liberation Army Southern Theater Command organized naval and air forces to track, monitor, warn, and drive away the aircraft in accordance with laws and regulations. The Philippine side’s actions severely infringe on China’s sovereignty.
