Austria refuses to allow the U.S. to use its airspace for actions against Iran

According to Austrian News Agency, the Austrian Ministry of Defense announced on the 2nd that it has refused multiple requests from the United States to allow the U.S. to conduct military operations against Iran using Austrian airspace. The report quoted Austrian officials as saying that Austria should not approve any U.S. military aircraft flying through Austrian airspace to the Gulf region, including transport and other logistical support aircraft. “This war is damaging Austria’s economic interests, harming the entire Europe and world peace.” (Xinhua News Agency)
