The three major U.S. stock indices all close lower

Golden Finance reports that on April 22, the three major U.S. stock indices all closed lower, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average down 0.59%, the Nasdaq down 0.59%, and the S&P 500 index down 0.63%. Most popular tech stocks declined, with Apple falling over 2%, Nvidia, Google, and Tesla dropping over 1%, and Microsoft rising over 1%. Oil and gas stocks and computer hardware led the gains, with U.S. energy up over 8%, HP up over 7%, Dell Technologies up over 4%, Seagate Technology and Western Oil up over 3%, and Chevron up over 1%. Precious metals and cryptocurrency concept stocks declined the most, with Circle dropping over 9%, Coinbase falling over 7%, U.S. Gold Corp, Pan American Silver, and Robinhood dropping over 5%.
