#Hong Kong secures World Cup broadcasting rights

Hong Kong spent 25 million USD (about 170 million RMB) to acquire the World Cup broadcasting rights;
Previously, FIFA offered CCTV 2.1 billion RMB, but negotiations stalled.
The same World Cup, two different prices. The population scale differs by nearly 200 times, the commercial value is worlds apart, yet the quotes differ by nearly ten times.
The Chinese national team didn't even qualify, and most matches are late at night, who will advertisers pay for?
Don't be too outrageous, FIFA, don't get it wrong: the main sponsor is China, not us begging to watch the World Cup 🔥
Even if the Chinese team didn't participate, China remained the world's largest single-viewer market in the last Qatar World Cup.
Chinese viewers contributed nearly half of the global online viewing time, and the World Cup final viewership share even exceeded 60%, with the entire network traffic volume far ahead and ranking first globally.
There are still many crypto enthusiasts who will contribute as well.
