1.Which coins can be used as collateral or borrowed in Margin Trading? At Gate, Margin Trading supports over 500 coins, including BTC, ETH, and USDT. For a full list, please refer to the Borrowing Rate and Loan Cap.

2.Are there any fees for Margin Trading? Margin Trading incurs trading fees (With the same rate as Spot Trading), interest, and liquidation fees. For details, please refer to the Fee Structure.

3.What is the borrowing rate for Margin Trading? The borrowing rate is deducted automatically every hour on the hour after you borrowed successfully. Daily Borrowing Rate (Floating)= Simple Earn Hourly Rate × 24 + (Simple Earn Hourly Rate × 24 × Service Fee Rate). Service fee discounts are available for VIP investors. Please refer to the Borrowing Rate and Loan Cap and Fee Structure for more details.

4.How is the interest on Margin Trading calculated? Interest is calculated hourly, with any duration less than one hour counted as one full hour. Interest is deducted at the start of each hour based on the borrowed amount. No interest is deducted if there is no active loan at that time.

5.When will I receive a risk alert for Margin Trading? The warning threshold is set by default at a MMR of 300% (customizable). When MMR ≤ 300%, notifications via SMS, email, and in-app alerts will remind you to increase your margin.

6.What is the liquidation fee in Margin Trading? When liquidation occurs, your collateral will be used to repay outstanding loans, and the system will charge 2% of the repayment amount as the liquidation fee.

7.What happens if account assets are insufficient after liquidation? Gate reserves the right to recover the remaining loans from the investor.

8.How can I view my liquidation records? Go to Order → Isolated Margin Orders → Order History/Trade History.

9.How can I check borrowing and repayment records? Go to Assets → Isolated Margin Account → Liability Management.

10.Is Margin Trading available for subaccounts? Yes. Please refer to the Gate API for more details.
