Gate News Report, March 12 — U.S. stocks closed mixed on Wednesday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average initially fell 0.6%, the S&P 500 Index declined 0.08%, and the Nasdaq Composite rose 0.08%. Oil stocks strengthened: Western Oil rose 4%, ConocoPhillips and Chevron gained over 2%, and Oracle surged 9%. Cryptocurrency-related stocks had mixed performances: MicroStrategy (MSTR) dipped 0.09%, BMNR increased 1.54%, COIN rose 1.05%, CRCL retreated 4.47%, closing at $112.81.
