US stocks open with all three major indices rising collectively, cryptocurrency concept stocks show divergent performance

Gate News Report, March 17: U.S. stock market opened with all three major indices rising. The Dow Jones Industrial Average increased by 0.66%, the S&P 500 rose by 0.42%, and the Nasdaq Composite gained 0.33%. In individual stocks, Qualcomm (QCOM.O) rose 3.2% after announcing approval of a $20 billion share repurchase plan and an increased dividend; Micron Technology (MU.O) increased by 2.5% as the company began mass production of HBM4 memory for Nvidia. Cryptocurrency-related stocks showed mixed performance: MSTR fell 0.28%, COIN rose 2.34%, CRCL declined 0.88%, SBET increased 0.37%, and BMNR rose 0.24%.
