Gate News Report, March 18 — During the 36th IMO Council Special Session, Secretary-General Kitack Lim stated that military strikes by Israel and the United States against Iran have led to multiple security incidents in the Strait of Hormuz. Currently, seven sailors have been killed, and approximately 20,000 sailors are stranded in the Persian Gulf waters. Lim urged all parties to propose constructive measures to address the current situation and help ensure maritime safety.
