Gate News, March 21 — In response to reports about Meta’s $80 billion loss in the metaverse, Meta clarified that this loss actually stems from the cumulative losses of its Reality Labs division. However, Reality Labs’ business extends far beyond the metaverse. The division’s products include Quest VR headsets, Ray-Ban AI glasses, and other hardware. Currently, Reality Labs has not shut down and continues to operate. Data shows that in 2025, Reality Labs’ annual loss will still exceed $19 billion, and the division will continue to operate in the future.
