Web3 gaming company Boyaa Interactive International is planning to expand its cryptocurrency reserve, with a proposed investment of up to $70 million over the next 12 months, pending shareholder approval. The company stated it will leverage idle cash during the market downturn to increase its position and support the development of its Web3 gaming division.

The new investment will add to Boyaa’s nearly $3 billion portfolio, which includes 4,091 Bitcoin and 302 Ethereum. The company prioritizes highly liquid assets with large market caps and long-term holdings.

Currently, Boyaa ranks 23rd globally in corporate Bitcoin reserves, behind Metaplanet and Next Technology Holding in the Asia-Pacific region.
