GateNews

Gate News reports that on March 27, Apple plans to open Siri to third-party AI assistants in the upcoming iOS 27 update, turning the iPhone into an AI platform. Sources say this is part of a comprehensive overhaul of Siri. Currently, Siri has integrated ChatGPT through a partnership with OpenAI, and Apple will now allow competing services to access the system as well. Apple is developing new tools to enable AI chatbot apps installed via the App Store to integrate with Siri, and these chatbots will also work with upcoming Siri apps and other features within the Apple Intelligence platform.
