Interactive Brokers launches personal crypto-asset trading in the European Economic Area, supporting 11 major cryptocurrencies

March 31, global broker-dealer Interactive Brokers announced that, through its Irish subsidiary, it would open crypto-asset trading to qualified individual investors across the European Economic Area. Users can trade, in addition to traditional financial products such as stocks, options, futures, foreign exchange, bonds, and funds, 11 mainstream crypto assets including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, and Dogecoin on its existing platform. The service supports 7×24 hour trading, charges approximately 0.12%-0.18% commission based on the transaction amount, with no bid-ask spread markups or custody fees, and it supports limit order functionality.
