Gobi Partners invests in Transak, supporting its expansion into Asia’s digital asset payment market

Gate News message, April 9, a well-known Asian venture capital firm, Gobi Partners, announced an investment in digital asset payment infrastructure company Transak. Transak was founded in 2019 and provides financial institutions with two-way fiat and digital asset exchange services. It handles KYC, AML, risk monitoring, and local payment integrations through a single API. Currently, Transak’s business covers more than 64 countries worldwide, holds more than 21 regulatory licenses, has been integrated into more than 600 applications, and has cumulatively served over 10 million users. This investment is intended to support Transak in expanding into Asian markets. Transak has established its Asia-Pacific headquarters in Hong Kong and plans to deepen integration with payment networks in the ASEAN region and banking partners.
