Recently, the GRASS crypto community has heated up again. They claim to be building a Layer 2 data Rollup on Solana, and now there are all kinds of predictions flying around in the community.
Current status:
Grass Points are currently priced at just $0.000139, down 43% from June’s high of $0.000789. 24-hour trading volume is $27,000, so overall the hype seems average.
Community opinions:
Some people are calling for $0.5, and some aggressive predictions even say it could reach $2.2-2.5. But investor Jussy.Sol is more cautious, predicting $0.00102—which is about 7 times the current price.
How the airdrop works:
Participate in the network to earn Points, which can then be converted into GRASS tokens. One user exchanged 1.3 million Points for 66 tokens, while another swapped 600,000 Points for 248 tokens. That works out to about $0.0001 per Point.
New developments:
The project has announced plans to become Solana’s first Layer 2 data Rollup, and the testnet already has over 900,000 users. This direction does leave some room for imagination.
But to be honest, the price is so low right now mainly because people are betting on future developments. If they really manage to launch a Layer 2 solution, there’s definitely some upside potential.
