Text-based AI prompts? Yeah, that's not gonna scale. Here's why: most people absolutely suck at writing.

Think about it — if your AI interface requires users to craft clear, structured prompts, you've already lost 80% of potential users. The real breakthrough won't come from better prompt engineering guides. It'll come from interfaces that don't require writing skills at all.

Voice, visual inputs, or context-aware systems that just... get it? That's the endgame.

You're absolutely right, prompt engineering is basically a fake demand. A real killer app should be so easy that even a fool can use it.

Ha, I think even 80% is conservative. Most people are too lazy to type at all.

Absolutely right, the ceiling for text prompts is indeed low. A bunch of my friends still need my help tweaking prompts when they use ChatGPT, let alone the general public.

What you said makes sense, but I think there's still an issue—even if the interface is extremely user-friendly, there will still be people who don't understand how to use it, seriously.

These days with AI, who still actually types to talk to machines? It's way too much trouble.

Haha, isn’t 80% a bit of an exaggeration? More and more people around me are writing prompts.
