MicroStrategy founder and CEO Michael Saylor announced the news on social media. Saylor stated: “MicroStrategy acquired 10,624 BTC at an average price of approximately $90,615 per bitcoin, with a total purchase amount of about $962.7 million, achieving a 24.7% bitcoin return so far in 2025. As of December 7, 2025, we hold 66,624 BTC, with a total acquisition cost of approximately $4.935 billion and an average cost of about $74,696 per bitcoin.”
