Wealth has never appeared overnight; it depends on whether you can wait for the right moment.

I've made about five million on my crypto journey. Now I can go anywhere I want and book hotels without hesitating over the price. Looking back over these past few years, I’ve realized there are really only two paths that work, and I want to share them today.

**Path One: The Triple Jump**

Simply put, it’s about breaking down your goals—you need to split the task of "turning a small amount of money into a large one" into three steps. Suppose you have 10,000 yuan; your goal is to find three opportunities, each time multiplying your money by ten:

First, turn 10,000 into 100,000, then 100,000 into 1,000,000, and finally, push from 1,000,000 to 10,000,000. Sounds far-fetched? Really, it’s about breaking the impossible into three "possibles." The key is not to get greedy at each stage, focus on finding assets suited to your current capital size, and keep reusing effective strategies. What you need to do now is keep a close eye on those three tenfold windows.

**Path Two: The Snowball Effect**

If you only have a few tens of thousands as your principal and want to accumulate to the million level, compounding is the most reliable way. But there are a few traps you need to avoid:

Patience is the first hurdle. The power of compound returns is astonishing; get it right a few times and you can go straight to tens of millions or higher. So don’t rush—wait for opportunities with high certainty before making a move.

How do you judge the timing? Watch for coins that start consolidating and bottoming out after a sharp drop, then suddenly break upward. These reversal points usually have the strongest trend and are the best times to get in early. Remember, only trade with the trend—don’t go against the market.

**Is Risk Really That Scary?**

A lot of people panic when they hear "compounding," thinking risk is out of control. But honestly, if you understand position management, it’s much safer than blindly trading futures.

For example: you start with 50,000 in profits. When Bitcoin is at $10,000, you use 10x leverage but employ isolated margin, only putting 10% of your capital in (that’s 5,000 as margin). In reality, your effective leverage is just 1x. Set a 2% stop-loss; even if it gets triggered, you only lose 1,000, which is 2% of your total funds. Even in a black swan event, at worst you lose your margin—your principal remains intact.

Those horror stories about getting liquidated and losing everything? At the end of the day, it’s because position sizing wasn’t managed or stop-losses weren’t set. The rules are there—follow them and they’re your shield; ignore them and they’re a pitfall.

The market is still here, and so are the opportunities. What you need to do is don’t rush to go all-in. First, get a clear view of the path ahead, and then move forward step by step.

It sounds like five million is built up through patience, and I believe that. But I have to say, the "triple jump" and "snowball" strategies have to obediently cower in front of a bear market... I thought the same back in the day, but in 2018 it directly knocked me back to my original form.

Sounds good, but the key is whether I can actually wait until that moment. I just don't have that kind of patience.

lol the classic "i made 5M so now let me sell you the roadmap" playbook. empirically speaking, survivorship bias is doing *heavy lifting* here—but okay, let me explain why the math on those 10x staircase scenarios invariably breaks down once retail tries to replicate it. the position sizing lecture is solid though, ngl... most people do deserve the liquidations they get.

A triple jump sounds good, but you have to be patient. You can't rush; wait until the real opportunity comes before making a move.

It sounds like a story, but it really is that simple. The key truly lies in patience.
