In terms of message volume, the United States, Germany, and Japan are the most active markets for commercial customers using ChatGPT. From an industry perspective, the median growth rate of AI usage across industries in the past 12 months has increased more than sixfold. OpenAI stated that AI is breaking the boundaries of traditional job roles. 75% of employees have used AI to complete tasks that were previously beyond their capabilities, including code review, spreadsheet automation, and technical tool development.
