Tonight's Fed meeting may really become a key node in the direction of the market.
Over the past few months, the positive news has been repeatedly digested into selling pressure by the market, but this time it seems to be a bit delicate. The actions of institutional funds in the recent shocks are becoming more and more obvious, the liquidity window is tightening, and the directional market may come at any time.
The market generally expects a 25 basis point rate cut, but if employment data continues to be weak and inflationary pressures are not so urgent, a 50 basis point rate cut is not ruled out. Once this "unexpected surprise" lands, the rhythm of the market may directly shift from bottoming to accelerating the upward attack.
In this potential reversal environment, ETH's performance is worth paying attention to. After the upgrade was completed, Ethereum's trend was relatively resistant to decline, and the technical aspect was significantly stronger than the market. There is now a macro catalyst missing, and it is not impossible to break out of the key price range.
And once ETH starts the main upward wave, the entire Ethereum ecosystem will benefit. Recently, the popularity of the Meme sector on the Ethereum chain has continued to rise, and many small-cap projects are ready to go. If liquidity is really released, the explosive power of these highly elastic targets should not be underestimated.
Tonight's meeting may really draw a dividing line.

50 basis points? Dream on, 25 points would be good enough. If it really drops by 50, I would go all in on ETH.

50bp can indeed cause a shake, but I bet this time it will be just the usual 25bp, and the market will continue to grind. Eth's technical outlook is indeed good, it just depends on whether tonight's "surprise" will be strong enough.

Only a 50 basis point decrease is stimulating; 25 basis points is completely meaningless.

Fifty basis points? Then it's really going to blow up. Don't say I didn't warn you when the time comes.

Hawkish interest rate cuts? Laughable, it's the same old rhetoric. Watching how on-chain wallets move is the real indicator.

50 basis points? Dream on. 25 basis points is already the ceiling. Don't be brainwashed by the rhetoric of getting sliced and diced.
