Old Charlie has a few sayings that truly become more meaningful the more you ponder them.
Don't argue with fools, just like you wouldn't fight a pig — not only will you end up covered in mud, but the pig actually enjoys the process. Some debates aren't worth wasting time on.
High IQ doesn't necessarily mean you can make money. I've seen too many smart people blow up in the market; the problem is often not the brain but personality. Greed, fear, and not giving up are the true weaknesses of human nature.
The most powerful strategy? Find the one area you're truly good at, then stick to it until the end. You don't need to understand everything — just master one thing to perfection. Enjoying the process is the essence of long-termism.

The analogy of fighting pigs is perfect; I've gotten muddy so many times just like that haha.

The analogy of fighting pigs is hilarious. I tend to fall into this trap easily and insist on winning or losing.

Really, these points hit the nail on the head. Especially that line "fighting pigs," how many people waste time every day on social media just like that...
Personality determines wealth, that's absolutely right. I've seen too many self-righteous smart people get exposed when a market wave comes.
Doing one thing thoroughly is much better than being mediocre at everything. That's true skill.

That phrase about pigs fighting is really on point. How many people are still arguing with air, haha.
The saying "character determines fate" is even more relevant in trading. Those losing money often say their skills are not good enough, but actually it's just greed that makes them lose control.
I'm all for digging deep into your own one-third of an acre. Don't try to do everything; focusing on one thing can actually make life easier.
