Want to actually get better at trading? Look at your losses. Not just a quick glance — really dig into them. Double the time you spend celebrating wins.
Wins feel great, sure. But losses? That's where the real lessons hide.
Your blown trades aren't failures. They're a manual for what NOT to do next time. Most traders ignore this goldmine because it stings to look at. But that discomfort? That's growth trying to happen.
Your next winning strategy is probably buried in last month's mistakes.

Loss review is really boring, but if you don't look, you're doomed to repeat the mistakes.

ngl, this is just regression analysis dressed up as life advice. statistically significant? maybe. but here's the thing—most traders won't actually do this because their brains are wired to avoid pain. the math checks out tho. losses do contain signal, contrary to popular belief most people are just terrible at extracting it.

When it comes to reviewing loss records, most retail investors can't do it. I previously tracked a batch of addresses on the blockchain, and 90% of those accounts that frequently cut losses later exited, with no one truly analyzing how they got caught.

Loss review is really tough; most people don't dare to look at their bad trades, but actually, that's the fastest way to improve.
