UNI has fallen to $5. Should I cut losses or hold on?

Market sentiment is truly unpredictable. A few months ago, UNI was hovering around $12, and everyone was calling it the DeFi leader; now the price has halved, and the comment section is already questioning "Governance tokens are useless."

Selling at a loss is always for fools. In a bear market, if you don't dare to hold coins, why bother trading? Governance tokens are useless? Then what do you use, air coins? The UNI halving — it all depends on whether you can survive this cycle. When will $5 be the bottom? Who the hell knows, just gamble. Anyway, I’m not selling; taking a loss is truly a loss.

Already sold? I sold early and lost half, now looking at this price I regret not getting out sooner. Governance tokens are just air, useless except for voting. Holding onto it isn't better than using this money to go all-in on other things, it's all a gamble anyway. Wait until it drops to $2 to buy the dip, there's plenty of time. I can't understand this piece of shit UNI, DeFi leader has fallen to this point, whatever.

Cut? I've already cut it long ago, haha. It’s hard to watch now. UNI was never meant to be pumped this high. Governance tokens are basically useless. If you continue to hold... you need to have a strong heart. This round might dip further. Actually, dropping to $5 might be the signal to buy. Just wait a bit longer. DeFi leader? Laughing out loud. No one talks about that anymore.

What are you cutting? I think this is just building our position. Wait, is UNI really that miserable? Why haven't I realized it yet? Governance tokens are useless? Then who will govern Uniswap's fees? That's hilarious.

I can only say that this is the normal state of the crypto world... When prices drop, people start blaming governance tokens; when prices rise, everyone wants a piece. Truly realistic. --- Should I sell or not? It depends on your original intention for owning the coin. Anyway, I am long-term bullish on the DeFi ecosystem. --- From 12 to 5, a 50% cut is considered light. How many coins have suffered even worse in this round of decline? --- But to be fair, UNI at least has real application scenarios. Compared to those purely speculative coins, it's a bit more stable. --- My advice? Don't go all in, but don't sell everything either. Just consider it as tuition fees, haha. --- Are governance tokens useless? Then try taking away governance from these DEXs and see what happens—why are they silent now? --- Honestly, market sentiment... It’s all about psychological games. The fundamentals may not have changed that much.
