You've heard it a million times: pick a solid strategy, force yourself to be "disciplined", and the profits will follow. Right?

Here's the thing - that's probably the worst advice floating around retail trading circles. Absolute garbage, honestly.

Why? Because discipline isn't something you can just manufacture through sheer willpower or repetitive practice. It doesn't work like building muscle at the gym. The whole concept that you can train yourself into discipline like it's some kind of skill tree is fundamentally flawed.

Those three blown accounts taught me something completely different about what actually matters in this game.
