When DeFi protocols manage billions in crypto assets, how do you verify the reserves are actually there?
One BTC-focused protocol found their answer: wire Chainlink's Proof of Reserve directly into the system. Real-time on-chain validation for a treasury north of $2 billion. Quantstamp and Certik both signed off on the security audits.
It's the kind of setup where trust becomes verifiable infrastructure instead of a marketing pitch. Transparency isn't a quarterly report anymore—it's baked into every block.

NGL proof of reserve sounds good, but how many can actually be implemented? Most are still just on paper commitments.

Hey, finally someone has brought trust onto the chain, so I don't have to watch the project team's "Credit Commitment Letter" every day.

Chainlink PoR is indeed impressive, much more reliable than those projects that only claim transparency... But speaking of which, does $2B 's vault still need Certik's endorsement before going on the chain? Isn't it probably still dealing with a trust crisis?

20 billion USD still relies on machine verification, what does that indicate? Manual endorsements have long been worthless.

Finally, someone has figured this out. On-chain verification is more reliable than anything else.

This PoR scheme does look pretty good, but to be honest, it still depends on whether someone actually verifies it later... Having a fancy audit report, what's the use of that?
