Looking at this lively community, upon closer inspection, it's all just superficial effort. You praise him a few words, and he responds more actively than anyone; someone spreads gossip, and he dodges without taking a stance; a competitor speaks up, and he immediately jumps out to fire full throttle.
He claims to want to build the ecosystem, and his voice is louder than anyone else's. But when someone actually offers advice or speaks the truth? He acts as if he didn't see it.
This kind of selective deafness operation is really hard to be convincing.

ngl, if you actually parse the engagement metrics here, it's demonstrably sub-optimal community behavior. technically speaking, selective responsiveness like this is just poor base layer design. they optimize for noise, not signal—mathematically inferior approach imo

Laughing out loud, isn't this just the daily routine of some project teams? Selective deafness is their ultimate skill.

Really, I've seen this trick used by several project teams. They downplay major issues and trivialize minor ones. When someone hits a nerve, they start pretending to be dead, but turn around and attack the critics fiercely. It cracks me up.

Basically, he's a double standard king. When praising him, it's fiery enthusiasm; when the truth comes out, he acts deaf. I've seen this routine too many times, it's boring.

That's spot on. I hate these double standards the most. They praise enthusiastically but play dead the moment they hear the truth—typical selective reception.
