ngl the 180 put is theoretically sound but given the historical volatility pattern around orcl earnings you're looking at maybe 60-65% probability of theta decay working against you here... actually statistically speaking december expirations tend to be tricky, the bid-ask spread alone could kill your risk-adjusted returns before the report even drops
