Interesting policy shift: Norway's central bank just came out saying they're not backing a CBDC rollout. Guess not every country is rushing into the digital currency game after all.

That's really thoughtful of you. After struggling for a while, I still decide not to play... But on second thought, why are these central banks always so slow to react?

ngl, norway just dodged a massive transparency trap. every cbdc push is just another vector for state-level frontrunning and financial surveillance wrapped in "progress" rhetoric. the dark forest gets darker when governments control the settlement layer... respect to their central bank for actually thinking this through instead of chasing the narrative.

honestly, if you look at the data, norway's just being smart here. everyone's chasing that cbdc narrative but like... what's the actual yield proposition? technically speaking, these central bank projects have correlation coefficients closer to government surveillance than sustainable returns. degens keep missing this angle smh

Norway is also not implementing CBDC... I heard their central bank is serious about it and not following the trend. It's quite interesting, it seems not all countries are on board.

Quite surprising. I thought Europe would be rushing to develop CBDCs, but it seems Norway is staying calm.

Quite surprising, even in Scandinavia they have given up... I thought Europe would push for it wholeheartedly. It seems CBDC isn't as attractive as I imagined.

Quite surprising, the Norwegian Central Bank's move this time indeed breaks the mold. It seems CBDC is not a silver bullet; some countries still need to hold their ground.

The Norwegian central bank's move is indeed a bit surprising; I thought the whole world was being brainwashed by CBDCs... Looks like there are still some who are clear-headed.
