The line between national security and personal privacy just got blurrier. A fresh proposal from Washington wants travelers from 42 countries to hand over five years of their social media activity before stepping foot in the U.S. We're talking full history—posts, accounts, digital footprints.

The target? The Electronic System for Travel Authorization, better known as ESTA. It's the digital gateway most visa-waiver visitors use. Now imagine customs officials scrolling through half a decade of your tweets, Instagram stories, and Facebook rants before stamping your passport.

This raises uncomfortable questions. Who stores this data? How long do they keep it? What happens when governments demand backdoor access to platforms? In a world where blockchain advocates champion decentralization and data sovereignty, this feels like a massive step backward. Privacy isn't just a tech buzzword—it's becoming a geopolitical bargaining chip.

Five years of social media records all handed over... Isn't this essentially covert censorship? Absolutely outrageous.

Are five years of social media records going to be submitted? Isn't this just the prelude to digital dictatorship... The significance of Web3 is now clearer.

Hand over five years of social media records? Isn't this just a disguised form of surveillance? Truly outrageous.

Whoa, 5 years of social media records? Are you trying to dig up my dark history openly?
