Oracle's stock took a hit recently as investors digest the company's escalating data centre expenditures. The tech giant's aggressive infrastructure buildout is pushing costs higher, raising questions about near-term profitability despite long-term cloud ambitions. Markets seem jittery about the capital intensity—classic case of spending big now for payoff later.

Oracle is really a bit clueless this time. Burning money to build data centers just to compete head-to-head with AWS, the stock price is going to take a hit in the short term.

Oracle's recent spending on building data centers... the market's reaction is a drop, but I think in the long run, this might not necessarily be a loss.

Burning money to build data centers, the market is terrified and trembling... Isn't this just a replica of AWS from back then?

Oracle's routine is the same old trick, pouring money into infrastructure and then claiming it will make money in the future. When exactly will the future arrive?

Massive spending on infrastructure has scared the market badly, a typical short-term pain.
