*sigh* another geopolitical event getting treated like some sort of linear shock model when reality operates on stochastic processes entirely. if you actually bothered running a correlation matrix on historical oil embargo events vs btc price action, you'd see the r-squared is statistically insignificant. most traders will panic-sell based on vibes rather than empirical evidence.
