Friends staying up late to watch the Federal Reserve meeting, are you now catching up on sleep?

The signals released from this meeting are actually quite subtle—appear stable on the surface, but internally there are hints of tightening.

Talking about stability, because the 25 basis point rate cut was completely expected, and officials repeatedly emphasized that the economy is in a soft landing phase, so there's no need to worry about a hard landing.

But a closer look at the dot plot reveals clues: the rate cut expectation for 2026 has been directly reduced to just one, and three members explicitly voiced opposition. What does this indicate? The decision-makers remain highly cautious about inflation rebounding and productivity recovery, and they do not intend to excessively loosen monetary policy. This cautious attitude will inevitably limit the further downward space for borrowing costs.

For this reason, last night's market was quite restrained, neither soaring nor plunging, just moving back and forth within a range.

However, based on the current trend, the price center has already begun to shift downward, and in the short term, it is likely to continue consolidating around 90,000.

The market has always been a game of speculating on expectations. Once good news is realized, the trend often quickly shifts into consolidation or correction mode.

At this critical juncture, blindly chasing gains carries a significantly higher risk.

Rather than forcing a move upward, it's better to stay on the sidelines for now, or strategically position short orders at high levels—this approach is much safer.

Stay calm; the real opportunities are still ahead.
