The dust has settled! The Federal Reserve announced a 25 basis point rate cut last night, perfectly in line with market expectations. But guess what? As soon as the news broke, BTC surged to $94,000, but didn't hold on for long and fell back to around $90,000. What does this move indicate? The market has already largely priced in the rate cut.

The current situation is that rate cuts are no longer surprising. The Fed's dot plot shows that by 2026 and 2027, there are expectations of one more cut each, but the pace is painfully slow—like a turtle crawling. What's more troublesome is that there is significant disagreement within the Fed—some worry about a rebound in inflation, others fear a surge in unemployment. Powell is caught in the middle, saying future rate cuts will depend on employment data. Goldman Sachs puts it plainly: "Preemptive rate cuts are over, unless the labor market data worsens further, don't expect any more easing."

What does a true bull market need? Continuous liquidity injection. But with the Fed's current stance, where will the additional funds come from? Data shows that retail investors have already shifted their funds into safe-haven assets like gold and silver. Many investors remain on the sidelines, and major institutions are cautious, not daring to enter impulsively.

My simple view: don’t be impulsive! Currently, BTC is in a consolidation phase, with normal fluctuations up and down. If you want to buy the dip, consider building positions gradually, but be mentally prepared for further bottoming or even a second dip. What the market lacks now is not enthusiasm, but certainty.

The current situation is: the positive news has been fully priced in. The real direction depends on the next key economic data release. Until then, watch more and act less—controlling your hands is the key. Don’t be led by short-term volatility; be patient and wait for clearer signals.
