The Federal Reserve's 25 basis point rate cut triggered a "false alarm" in the crypto world. Originally optimistic investors were caught off guard — Bitcoin and Ethereum not only failed to rise on the news but instead collectively plunged, causing the entire crypto market to fall.

Powell's stance is crucial. Although the rate cut was as expected, he emphasized that inflation pressures still exist, hinting that there will be no large-scale "monetary easing." Once these words were out, risk assets were immediately hammered. Meanwhile, Trump’s side began to stir political maneuvers — strongly pushing Haskett to succeed as Federal Reserve Chair, claiming to push for more aggressive rate cuts, even specifying that the January and March meetings will continue to loosen policies.

Market disagreements have intensified as a result. If Haskett indeed takes over, the policy shift toward extreme easing could bode well for inflation-hedging assets like Bitcoin; conversely, if inflation resurges, the Fed might be forced to tighten, and the crypto market may face another round of adjustments.

The January and March FOMC meetings have become a suspenseful point. How much influence can Trump exert on Fed policy? Will Powell withstand the pressure to maintain independence? This political and monetary policy tug-of-war is reshaping expectations for cryptocurrencies.

Another false alarm; it seems the authorities won't be lenient with policies.

I took a look at the MACD, and indeed a death cross has appeared... This dip was really uncomfortable. Catching the bottom halfway up the mountain, truly a pro move, haha. Interest rate cuts should have been positive, but instead it caused a reverse sell-off? The technical signals have long indicated danger. Let's wait for the January meeting. The head and shoulders top pattern isn't complete yet. Set your stop-loss levels accordingly. Powell's attitude clearly signals bearishness; market cycles are not that simple.

Another false alarm; whether to cut interest rates still depends on Powell's mood.

Powell's move this time is really genius—cutting rates while suppressing expectations. Are they messing around?

It's another political game, and the crypto world gets caught in the crossfire.
