Friends keeping an eye on the Federal Reserve Chair candidate are in luck—new updates from the Trump camp indicate that in the next two weeks, five candidates will undergo intensive interviews. Originally scheduled to be finalized before Christmas, the decision has now been pushed back to January next year, creating enough suspense.

The candidate list includes former Federal Reserve officials Kevin Hassett, Kevin Walsh, Christopher Waller, Michael Bowen, as well as BlackRock Chief Investment Officer Rick Raider. But according to the predictions on the Kalshi platform, the race is already quite clear—Kevin Hassett has a 72% chance of winning, leaving the second-place Kevin Walsh at 15% and third-place Christopher Waller at 6%, comfortably ahead.

Here's the key question: What kind of approach does Hassett have?

Before this FOMC meeting, he repeatedly publicly stated that the Fed should cut rates by 50 basis points instead of 25. If such a dovish stance materializes, what does it mean for the crypto market? Simply put—more money.

Lowering interest rates has always been an stimulant for risk assets. The more aggressively rates are cut, the easier it is for high-yield seeking funds from traditional financial markets to flow into cryptocurrencies, tech stocks, and other high-volatility sectors. When liquidity increases, asset prices naturally rise. Cryptocurrencies are inherently sensitive to changes in interest rates, and if an aggressive candidate takes the helm at the Fed, the scene can be imagined.

Currently, the market has already started to react. The signals from this FOMC meeting are dovish, coupled with Hassett’s high probability, forming a long-term bullish pattern.

Of course, it’s not time to draw final conclusions yet, but the signal is already clear enough—before the official announcement in January, closely monitor candidate developments and policy directions, and prepare in advance. After all, opportunities favor those who are prepared.

72% locked directly? Something's off. With such a large probability gap... If Hassett really raises by 50 basis points and opens the floodgates, will the crypto market take off this time?

Hassett really gets promoted, I need to stock up on some mainstream coins in advance because of this rate cut, there's a 72% chance I can't ignore it.
