Hmm... it's the same "sunk cost fallacy" narrative again. Once you're hooked, you can't stop, mainly caused by distorted incentive mechanisms that create psychological anchoring. To put it simply, it's still the low trust cost and human weaknesses that are clearly exploited in the design.
