Ever wonder who actually owns your data when you're bouncing between dApps? Here's a shift worth noting: a new infrastructure layer is flipping the script on personal information control.

Think of it as your digital vault. Instead of scattering credentials across platforms, everything consolidates under one roof—your roof. You decide what gets shared, when, and with whom. The setup keeps regulators happy while putting you back in the driver's seat.

What makes this approach different? Your information never leaves your control perimeter. Storage remains encrypted and private by default, yet still satisfies compliance checkboxes that institutions care about. It's that balance between autonomy and accountability that's been missing in Web3 identity solutions.

The architecture essentially decouples data custody from service access. Projects can verify what they need without hoarding what they don't. For users, that means less exposure, more agency.

It sounds like the same old tune of self-sovereign identity, but this time it seems they've really sorted out the compliance issues? However, I still want to ask, who will audit the encryption part?

NGL, this set of logic sounds pretty good, but how many projects that are actually implemented will truly respect user choices? I think most likely they will still find all sorts of reasons to demand more permissions.

Is it that same spiel about "You control the data"... Can it really be trusted? --- Sounds good, but are those compliance standards really that easy to meet? Probably still need to leave traces on-chain. --- Alright, finally someone remembers our privacy; all that free riding before was bullshit. --- Decoupling... sounds simple in theory, but how long will it take to implement? --- This is what Web3 should look like, not constantly speculating on coins and cutting leeks. --- One vault to handle everything? Seems like just another pie in the sky.

Sounds good, but here's the question: can we really trust that this system won't be hacked?
