Did you understand Polygon's recent splitting operation?
Since last year, the entire ecosystem has been divided into several parts: AggLayer manages cross-chain liquidity scheduling, Katana focuses on DeFi aggregation, Avail specializes in data availability, and Miden has taken on the banner of privacy layer.
On the surface, Miden doesn't seem very prominent, and its topic popularity isn't high. But upon closer examination, you'll find that privacy computing is actually the most critical piece of the puzzle — no matter how fancy the other modules are, without a privacy layer as a backup, who would dare to use on-chain data in the raw?
Therefore, rather than saying Miden is low-profile, it's more accurate to say that it silently supports the entire ecosystem from behind the scenes. Without it, nothing can run smoothly; with it, everyone can confidently move forward.
